General Concrete
Gen0 General Concrete: Due to the lightweight nature of this mix, it should not be used for construction where structural strength is required. Here are some applications Gen 0 concrete is suitable for:
- Kerb backing and bedding
- Blinding
- Void filling
- Drainage works
GEN1 General Concrete: Being a flexible concrete mix, Gen 1 concrete can be used for a range of applications, including:
- Agriculture and drainage works
- Trench filling
- Step foundations
- Floor blinding
GEN2 General Concrete: If there is no embedded metal in the floors, this concrete type is perfect. It is especially popular for bare finishes where nothing will be used to cover it.

GEN3 General Concrete: As a lightweight mix, GEN3 concrete has the highest cement content of all other individual GEN mixes. This makes it a versatile mix which is easy to work with across a range of applications.
Most commonly used in domestic construction projects, GEN3 concrete can be used for many projects, including:
- Paving, paths and patios
- Extensions
- Slabbed foundations, particularly where the ground itself is unstable
- Shed and garage bases
- Wall foundations
